It is a New Year and naturally, I can help but reflect over the year 2022. I have so much that I am thankful for. 2022 completed my 3rd year of running my business. My 2nd eldest entered his Senior year of high school and will be graduating in May of 2023. My eldest, Nate the Great, is making amazing progress. He learned to read last year. He has done much more than doctors and specialist believed he could do, since he was diagnosed with low-functioning autism 17 years ago. We moved this year. It was about 500 feet from where we were, but we moved! It still was hard work! In 2022, I celebrated 21 years married to my love. God is so good!

There are so many areas where I need to grow & change!

One of the several areas is.....

Health! I have noticed with growing my business and being busy with homeschooling my boys, that some important things have been neglected. For me is a few simple words, but are easier said than done because they require some sort of discipline. They are eat healthy & exercise.

So what am I doing? When it comes to eating healthy, I am learning and eating the Trim Healthy way. You know that I love science, so when I read about the book "Trim Healthy Mama" the science behind it made sense. I am sure I will do more posts or maybe an educational video on the basics behind the Trim Healthy way of eating.

For exercise, I decide to not do anything drastic of crazy. I wanted something simple. I know myself, I have made crazy hard goals before and failed within weeks. I am not going to repeat that. So my goal is to walk a mile each day and move my body. It doesn't take that much time out of my day. Plus, I have had a treadmill folded up for years not being used.

That's my goal and I'm stickin' to it!

I have too many precious people in my life to not make health a priority. I am sure that I will share my journey & recipes that I learn along the way.

What goals did you set for 2023?
